Bougainvillea is a product of Push to Start Ventures LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), which operates the website at bougainvillea.care (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it.
By using the Site or submitting any form, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a waitlist or inquiry form, we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- City or general location
- Practice name, practice type, and phone number (for practice owner inquiries)
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We do not currently run our own analytics platform.
No sensitive health data. We do not collect, store, or process protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA. Bougainvillea is a wellness audio product, not a medical service or covered entity.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To notify you when Bougainvillea becomes available near you
- To respond to your inquiry about becoming a practice partner
- To communicate product updates and launch information you have requested
- To operate and improve the Site
We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
Formspree. Our contact forms are processed by Formspree, Inc. Form submissions are transmitted to and stored by Formspree according to their privacy policy.
Google Fonts. We load typefaces from Google Fonts, which may cause your browser to make a request to Google's servers. Please see Google's privacy policy for details.
Netlify. The Site is hosted on Netlify. Server logs and infrastructure data are subject to Netlify's privacy policy.
4. Cookies
We do not set first-party tracking cookies, and we do not use cookies or similar local technologies for behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, or building advertising profiles. The limited cookies and local storage the Site does use exist strictly to support core functionality — maintaining your session, remembering basic preferences, and enabling smooth, uninterrupted audio playback. See our Terms of Use §7 (Cookies and Functional Technology) for details. Third-party services listed above may set their own cookies subject to their respective policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain form submission data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or until you request deletion. Email addresses on our waitlist are removed promptly upon request.
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

7. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
